What is temporary employment?

In temporary employment, a personnel service provider transfers staff to a client company. The temporary worker signs an employment contract with the staffing company and works in changing and time-limited assignments in the respective client company. The temporary worker therefore has the advantage of getting to know different companies, specialist areas and activities, and may also be recommended to be directly hired by the client company.

What does personnel leasing mean?

In personnel leasing, office people acts as a personnel service provider and transfers staff to a client company for a limited period of time. As an employee, you will work in changing and time-limited assignments in the respective client company. As part of personnel leasing, you therefore have the advantage of getting to know different companies, specialist areas and activities, and may also be recommended to be hired permanently by the client company.

What does recruitment mean?

As an innovative personnel service provider, we support you to find a new professional challenge. The aim is to directly facilitate a permanent employment relationship for you with our client company. By actively approaching suitable companies, you have the best chance of being hired. As such, you will not only benefit from our many years of experience, but also from our contacts and extensive network.

Why should you opt for temporary employment?

A temporary role offers many advantages, including an easy entry or re-entry into the professional world or diverse opportunities to gain experience and further develop expertise.

What documents do you need to apply?

Which collective agreement does office people use?

Temporary agency workers are subject to the collective agreement on temporary work concluded between the Confederation of German Trade Unions (Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund, DGB) and the Association of German Temporary Employment Agencies (Interessenverband Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen e. V., iGZ).

What are the potential earnings?

Temporary agency workers and their employment relationship with office people are subject to the collective agreement on temporary work concluded between the Confederation of German Trade Unions (Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund, DGB) and the Association of German Temporary Employment Agencies (Interessenverband Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen e. V., iGZ). Temporary agency workers who have special knowledge and qualifications that are in demand may also be paid in excess of the collective agreement rate. In addition, there may be premiums available depending on the industry and the duration of the assignment.

Is there a transport service available?

office people employees are able to access our own transport service and thus can be brought from their place of residence to their place of work and back again.

This pick-up and drop-off service provides both our employees and clients alike with extensive security. As such, our employees are reliably brought to the place of work and taken home again at any time of the day or night, without falling back on public transport.

What are the possible risks associated with temporary work?

For clients, there is always the risk of subsidiary liability. This means that the client company may be liable for social security contributions (Section 28e, Social Code IV), contributions to the employers’ liability insurance association (Section 150, Social Code VII) and wage tax (Section 42d, Income Tax Act). However, office people is one of the most experienced, economically sound and reputable personnel service providers in Germany, so you can be sure that you are minimising your risk of subsidiary liability by working with us.
